yeah, in that case I have no idea. Like someone else said, they could be checking to see if you lied about your salary.

If you have nothing to hide and they insist, I would just give them what they want. It's a stupid request but harmless. Theres nothing there that you haven't already told them and you don't want to get off on the wrong foot.
