Both games will be on November 3rd, and I am wondering if both teams can live up to the hype through that time. Here is a breakdown of each team's schedule:

LSU:
North Texas
Washington
Idaho
@Auburn
Towson
@Florida
South Carolina
@ Texas A&M

Bama:
Michigan
WKU
@Arkansas
FAU
Ole Miss
@Missouri
@Tennessee
Mississippi State

USC:

Hawai'i
@Syracuse
@Stanford
California
@Utah
@Washington
Colorado
@Arizona

Oregon:

Arkansas State
Fresno State
Tennessee Tech
Arizona
@Washington State
Washington
@Arizona State
Colorado

I would say Oregon is the least-likely to lose during that stretch, but all 4 teams should have a relatively easy trip to November 3rd. USC @ Stanford could be interesting and Bama's games with Michigan and Arkansas may be close, but those should be wins. I don't see LSU losing to USCe at home.

Is it #1 LSU vs. #2 Bama and #3 USC vs. #4 Oregon on 11/3/12?

Side note: I think Oklahoma loses to K-State and also has Texas and Notre Dame by this point in the season. I think they will be out of the race already.

ETA: Oregon is AT Arizona State

I'd love to see it. I felt better about Arkansas in 2010 and 2011 than I do this year, and those teams let me down pretty emphatically against Alabama.

More likely #1 USC v # 4 Oregon and # 2 Bama v # 3 LSU.

Maybe, but we are assuming LSU is coming off of wins @ Florida, at home against a likely Top-10 USCe squad, and @ Texas A&M.

LSU will have the "best" 3 wins to ride into the matchup.

Bama and USC's big games are in the first month or so.

South Carolina will DEFINITELY have choked one away by the time they get down here. We'll make them look stupid anyway.

The ASU game is on the road for the Ducks. Otherwise it's right.

Agreed. But with the media so far up USC's arse without having played, no way anyone jumps them as long as they stay undefeated.

No only that but the WSU game is in Seattle and will be a split crowd. It is a very favorable schedule to break in a new qb.

I don't see USC being undefeated in November. Their defense was thoroughly mediocre last year, and with the d-line losses they are experiencing, they do not have the depth to absorb those losses. They are a mirage and will likely finish in the bottom half of the top 25 this season.

LSU and Bama could very well be undefeated again, though. Should be another great one. Maybe this year it will count.

you can never sleep on these games, also having A&M right before Bama leads to a possible trap game as well

obviously the biggest obstacle of all the teams

Colorado
@Arizona
no real challenges

looks pretty easy as well

Washington is a rival and will depend on how their oline and running game pan out. If they have a serviceable oline and Sankey ends up a stud, that could be a tough game.

WSU has Leach's air raid as well. I just don't think they will even have a serviceable defense.

You do realize that Cal and UTAH are good teams, right? Cal has a ton of talent.
