You can also sync up Pink Floyd' "Echoes" to the end of 2001: A space Odyssey. Just start it when the "Jupiter and Beyond the Infinte" segment starts. Or just watch it HERE.
The band claims it was unintentional, but Roger Waters has been quoted as saying one of his biggest musical regrets was not having contributed any music to that film.

More support for my point. You can synch up anything with anything. Hell my friend who plays guitar could jam for a few minutes and it would synch up with that outer space scene.
I'm really asking yall, think long and hard about how much effort would have to go into intentionally synching an album up with a movie. You would have to hit play on the movie the write the notes, lyrics, time changes, chord changes, everything based around what's happening in the movie. You'd have to basically write a whole album second by second based on what was happening in the movie. That is so absolutely absurd.
