Like I said, my definition of world class must be very different from yours.

A striker in a top 5 league that wins the golden boot for said league should be world class..

1 EPL
2 La Liga
3 Bundesliga
4 Serie A
5 Ligue 1
And he hasn't won it yet. Look I'm a huge Jozy fan but he is not world class. He is becoming a quality player who may one day become world class.

Um, no. I don't think there is a single world class player in the Eredivisie right now.

Glass did say "on the cusp" of world-class. I can live with that.

Primeira Liga
Ukranian Premier League
Russian Premier League
Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A
Belgian Pro League

Eredivisie would probably be #8 or #9 on my list.

Well I obviously should have went with my original idea of saying top 10 league.

Basically winning the golden boot puts you in a very elite group of players. Am I suggesting he could replicate it in all of those other leagues? no, most couldn't. But being in that elite group would make one "On the cusp" of being world class.

Fair enough, I still disagree completely. I think the term "world class" is being thrown around a bit too loosely. Jozy is nowhere near being world class in my opinion.

But by your own standards, Luis Suarez is world class

Suarez is world class. Jozy is not. People like Messi, RVP, Rooney, Inniesta, and Thiago Silva are examples of world class players.

Eriksen maybe. Certainly on the cusp.

The truth. Look at his track record with club and country and also watch game film and tell me he isn't the most dangerous man on the pitch most if not all of the time.

Probably one of the few I would consider, although his performance in the Euros is much more telling of where his developmental progress currently is. He certainly has world class talent though.

I don't consider him world class anymore. He was at Ajax, but, for whatever reason, he hasn't made the full transition at Liverpool.

There are a handful of world class strikers, and I don't consider Suarez to be one of them.

I can understand that although I do think his struggled are highlighted because of a very poor surrounding cast. There are few clubs in the world (maybe 2) where he wouldn't immediately start, and that is my definition of world class.
