Southern Hospitality Shirts @ LSU

I saw a story on WAFB the other day, about an LSU Freshman selling shirts and promoting a nicer fanbase at LSU, showing some "Southern Hospitality". I have one thing to say about that, and I gotta get this off my chest, as it has been really bugging me.
We are showing our own version of "Southern Hospitality"...Do you go to a theme park, and get on the scariest ride, say the Tower of terror, and ask them to slowly lower it to the ground for you??? F#(* that! Our fan base don't come with training wheels!
You want a wussy azz fanbase, join in with the Pac-nothing and those pansy-azzed hippies in Oregon. You want a Bourbon fueled, edge of the seat experience you come to Baton Rouge! I love our crazy fan base! I'm not supporting illegal activities in any way, but a roaring TigerBait! followed by a beer and a good meal tends to keep the visiting fans on their toes! Do you think that opposing fans would want to come here for a group love fest like you are promoting? hell, no! Those that come here are looking for an experience in "DEATH VALLEY"- what part of that name denotes peace and love???
---summary for those who think its TL;DR--
I'm sick and tired of these hippie kids trying to soften up our fanbase! they need to GTFO!

Nico you peace loving hippy.
I have been on plenty of campuses. I have walked up to many tailgates uninvited and struck up conversation. I feel fan bases fall in 3 categories. The first and most common fan base is playfully confrontational and pleasant to be around. Most are happy to discuss the game, the sport, and basic small talk. The second sadly, is dominated by fans who are offended that an opponent’s clearly inferior fans would invade their space and exhibit that by ignoring you or glaring at you like you have a third arm. LSU's fan base is in a rare third category. LSU is one of only 3 campuses I have been on that tailgaters quickly and openly offer access to their food/drinks/hospitality. They are willing and eager to have a little confrontational banter without getting their feelings hurt and do their best to make sure you have a good time. Are there a-holes on campus? Sure, just like there are at every school. What is nice though is instead of feeding the bad behavior of the select few you will see a lot of self-policing by established LSU fans on campus.
There is no need to change what we enjoy.
As an opposing fan if you come to LSU's campus and are an easily offended overly pretentious prick who has a chip on your shoulder you will walk away angry, hungry and thirsty, emotionally crushed, and possibly without your GF is she is hot. However, if you walk on campus with the idea that it is all in good fun, shake hands, acknowledge rivalries, ignore the rare belligerent drunks which are at every school, and support your team with respect then you will have a great time and will eat and drink essentially for free.
At every home came I have been to, I have seen fans of EVERY opponent LSU has faced (yes even bama) proudly supporting their team while enjoying the festivities on campus and hospitality of our fans.
