Loved it...saw it two weeks ago.

But I also love sushi and food documentaries.

I agree, you don't have to love sushi or Japan to appreciate it though...the work ethic and attention to mastering something no matter what your profession or passion in life is the moral of the movie.

For a comedy about attention to Japanese cuisine, I recommend Tampopo - about mastering the art of cooking Ramen noodles.
