As mentioned above, Networking probably lands +70% of jobs. Either use your connections to connect you to someone else, or make your own connection with a target company employee. I'd suggest trying to get a brief face/phone time with a potential company.
Also, the more you "do" the better. For a young grad, things such as Leadership experience and Community involvement don't hurt when the recruiters want to know what type of individual they will be investing in. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
