I said THE Peach Bowl performance, not HIS Peach Bowl performance. The TEAM looked by far the best it looked allyear, and JJ was a big part of that.
He played very well as a true freshman making only his second start and showed a lot of potential.
But the TEAM looked relieved and rejuvenated to have a fresh approach. That is something that people thought was very important after 1/9, how the team seemed to respond to a QB that they seemed to have lost confidence in.
JJs performance in that game was efficient at worst, again, something the JJ bashers this past year made out to be Lee's biggest virtue.
I would pretty much call anyone who says they thought Lee should start in 09 a liar, an idiot, or both.
I just don't understand the need by some people to rewrite history.
