I'd like to see the horn too. But if the knowledge of all the ships in Mereen being burned has reached Westeros, I think he still has a good argument that he could at least get in very good graces with a restored Targaryen kingdom run by Dany. The idea that she would consent to marry him is a bit more of a long shot of course.

And was likely going to be a long shot with or without the horn given her previous marital experience.
As you said though, it'll be interesting to see her reception when one of the Ironborn show up with ships. Whether it's Theon and Yara or Euron.
