I don't think the Blackfyre conspiracy is legit for this storyline. It's possible, like Tyrion being a Targaryen, but unlikely. GRRM has plenty of insigificant history throughout his stories. Oh, and I dig house Blackfyre. I just don't buy the Illyrio/Varys long con Blackfyre ressurection.

Even if he turns out not to be a Blackfyre (I very strongly believe he will though), I would still bet my house that he doesn't play into the final endgame. If he isn't Blackfyre, then he'll be killed off before he ever becomes a dragonrider or gains full control of the 7 kingdoms. The only way I will change my belief in that is if he is introduced on the show. There is no way that D & D would leave out a character that plays a significant roll in the endgame of the books.
