I don't know that it necessarily means that she's marrying Ramsay. I don't see Littlefinger giving her up in that capacity, at all. Largely because I don't see him putting his prize at risk like that.
Even if the Boltons knew that, why would LF bring her to them? Yes, I know that Winterfell is LF's crown jewel that he hopes to get, but the Boltons would most likely murder Sansa the second she steps into Winterfell. And if the Boltons knew this, they'd most likely send a raven to Cersei telling them that they know of it.

Now it may be that they are there on invitation as being Arya's "family" (since Ramsay and Co. really want to sell this union) and they're curious as to the state of Winterfell and whether Arya is still alive (and possibly to acquire her as well). There could be a lot of other variables once they reach that point on the show that doesn't have anything to do with Sansa marrying Ramsay.
But why would the Boltons know this? Wouldn't Cersei know this as well, then figuring out that LF was the one who killed her son, declare war on the Vale? It's just not adding up to me.

All that said, even if they do go that route, I don't know that it necessarily jumps the shark. I think I'd get some real satisfaction out of seeing Sansa frick over Ramsay Snow in some shape or form. Especially if the show is definitely going to explore other venues outside of the books. And I haven't been terribly disappointed with D&D's changes outside of the omission of Lady Stoneheart.
Sansa and Ramsay really don't have any connection in the novel. I'd rather Reek or Jon take him out.

At this point it's probably just best to accept that they're two different mediums and because GRRM is going to write at his own pace show be damned two different storylines.
I am as well, since I've prepped myself for Aegon not being in the show and completely changing the dynamics of the upcoming war, but so long as it makes sense I'll let it fly. This one is a bit harder for me to swallow. I don't see why LF, unless he plans on using his army to murder all the Boltons and Freys Red Wedding style, would ever bring Sansa anywhere close to Winterfell while they're there.

Yeah, you were overreacting a bit last season to a bunch of stuff IMO, but if they do this you'll have a right to be pretty pissed. Littlefinger and Sansa joining up with the Boltons would be severe jumping the shark. Everyone in the north hates the Boltons for the red wedding, the only reason they are able to stay alive at all would be due to their alliance with the Lannisters. No way in hell they'd just scrap their alliance with the Lannisters and join Littlefinger. And that's not even going into Littlefinger not wanting to give up Sansa.
