I always forget about the whole Ramsey/Reek thing in the books. In the book, Ramsey was Roose's Reek and became "theon's reek" until Theon let him go to the Dreadfort to bring aid to break the Northmens' seige of Winterfell. Ramsey returned with an army from the Dredfort that massacred the northern host and then proceeded to massacre the Ironborn as well and captured Theon "It's my dick in a box" Greyjoy to bring him back to the Dredfort to assume Ramsey's former roll as "Reek".

Seeing Ramsey as "Reek" in the books makes Roose seem so much more evil.

I totally forgot all about that. Looks like I need to do a reread.

Not sure about y'all but I'm starting to mix up things from the show with the books at times...especially with the Ramsay Reek/Theon stuff. I had completely forgotten about Ramsay being Roose's Reek.
