The Boltons' hold on Winterfell and the North is tenuous at best. With Rickon re-emerging from Skagos, Jon potentially being Robb's heir or the heir to Westeros, Bran being a warg tree and technically the real Heir to Winterfell, and Littlefinger's schemes with Sansa's claim, and the real Arya coming back to Westeros and fake Arya being exposed as Jeyne Poole...the Boltons are screwed.

Personally I don't think we'll see Roose Bolton again. I think Manderly's men will kill him, and Ramsay will escape with the small remainder of his host, and march north to the Wall to destroy Jon and the Night's Watch. It would be a real tragedy if Jon and Ramsay Snow didn't have an encounter. Ramsay is literally Jon's antithesis, and I don't think GRRM put much thought into the character but "do the exact opposite of what Jon would do".
