Rewatching some episodes tonight randomly on HBO. I noticed that Theon tells Ramsey that it wasn't the Stark children he killed at Winterfell. I don't think that happened that way in the books did it?

Ramsey was basically dagmer cleftjaw (in the show) in the books. he burned the farmer boys

The books only really hint at all o the cruel things Ramsey did to Theon. They don't really mention too much and instead focus more on what a broken man Theon has become because of that treatment. It's not unthinkable that Ramsey knows, but just doesn't care. Bran and Rikkon are out of the picture anyways.
