I think we'll be seeing Wyman in Season 5. Without that plot, Davos would be doing nothing.

I want to see the Kettleblacks because I absolutely love the "She's fricking Lancel, Osmund Kettleblack, and Moonboy for all I know" line that Tyrion tells Jaime and Jaime thinks about 24/7 .

As for Rhaegar, the author of the article is spot-on...the TV series has been lacking the backstory that is woven so deeply throughout the books.

quote:

Such scenes could also be used to introduce the character of Jon Connington (who becomes important during the events of A Dance With Dragons) to television viewers, whilst also illustrating the motivation for actions that new character Oberyn Martell will take and introducing the prophecy of the ‘Prince That Was Promised’, one of many important prophecies, visions and dreams that the series has yet to explore in much detail.

If there’s one thing that Game of Thrones has been lacking, its backstory, and Rhaegar is the perfect figure to orientate the occasional exploration of recent Westeros history around.

And someone who commented on the article wrote this:

Totally agree with your number one pick. I think if the show wants to start sowing the seeds of the prince that was promised story line they should start sooner rather than later plus a flashback or set in the past episode showing Rhaegar/Lyanna, the cause of the rebellion etc could work.

They're basically echoing what we've been saying on this board.

I kind of think Wyman should be in season four. There really isn't any reason he shouldn't be...he wasn't in AFFC only b/c the books were split. He represents the Stark threat/hope post RW which may be more important TV wise than the books.
