I have no issue with George going to Comic Con to promote Game of Thrones.
I do have issues with him not having any motivation to finish this series/is going to take the 'easy way' out by having David and Dan finish it for him on TV. You would think that with the TV show, that it would've rekindled his love and interest in ASOIAF and inspire him to do the series--and fans--justice by finishing it in a timely manner.
