A lil better served in one of the show threads, but...after a re-watch of "The Climb" last night, I realized that the show has Loras as the heir to Highgarden...yes?

Besides character population control, what purpose does this serve/ implications for future deviations from the text re: the Tyrell/ Lannister cold war? Especially once the PW comes and goes, and Tommen sits the throne...

Does anyone see an angle here that I don't? seems this change makes the heir apparent a dicey proposition for Highgarden...

yea they did say that

if it was for character control, i dont understand why they didnt just mention in passing that Willas was the heir

im curious what happens with all that jazz
