There just don't seem to be any possibilities of silver linings for her. She's last in line for her house's rule, she doesn't want to marry, she has a murderous rage to her that can't be satisfied, and she's training to be under a miserable existence for all time. At best she remains a Faceless Man and renounces her family completely in the end after helping save them.

Those are all pretty good points on her. I hope not though. She's the only character with a pov in every book so I hope she makes it to the end even if it's not too happy of one. I know it doesn't matter if someone is a "good guy" though

I'll go you one step further. I don't think Arya is the type to ever have a "happy" life. Even if everything had worked out differently and Eddard had remained Lord of Winterfell or even became King of the North or King of Westeros. I just can't see her having the type of life that would be considered happy for princesses in that society.

So, yeah, I don't think she will be "happy" in the conventional sense. To me, she's more like a primal force. Were people like Alexander the Great or Timur or the head of the Inquisition happy? I don't think so. They were forces.

In Arya's case, it is compounded because she is a force of anger and death. I guess in some sense you can say she could be content in doing what it is she does. (killing people who harm or threaten to harm her family and friends). Kind of fulfilling her destiny. But yeah, I don't think she'll grow old and sit around happily telling her grandchildren stories of the great winter.
