Dany's rebirth and drawing of Lightbringer from the fire was the true event - Stannis's rebirth was just a farce that Melisandre made him go through in an attempt to fulfill the prophesy.

Aemon doubted Stannis's Lightbringer because it doesn't emit heat. Dany's dragons emit heat.

Dawn may have been Azor Ahai's Lightbringer, but Dany has a new Lightbringer, one that will be much more effective in the War for Dawn than a mere sword.
