just realized yesterday in my re-read through of the books that Jeor Mormont is Jorah Mormonts dad. kind of blew my mind for a second. can't believe i didn't catch it the first read through
also does anyone think that one of the stark kids, jon snow, or another person with the warg capabilities will be able to skinchange into one of the dragons later? would be crazy and throw a monkey wrench into the whole deal...

Yeah, it blew my mind when I figured it out just about halfway through the first book. I definitely didn't realize it watching the first two seasons of the series.

In the asoiaf forums this is a popular idea. Some fans think yes. They also think that the valyrians never encroached on westeros bc they feared the warging abilities of the first men and cotf. I could see that happening.
