I think the bastards of Robert will have a role if there is still an overall king at the end of the series.
I really don't see Stannis being alive at the end of the series, nor his daughter after Val freaked out about the greyscale in the last book.
So someone would have to take over the Baratheon titles and lands, and his bastards are the most likely suspects. But as for a key role in the story going forward, it would be unlikely.

I'd still like to see Jon Snow with Val and not Dany.
In a random note I was rereading GoT with a friend last night and wondered if the old tomcat that Arya had been chasing was the same kitten Varys mentioned to Ned when talking about the death of Elia and Rhaegar's children. One of them had a cat.
Like I said, random and has like no significance but it made me wonder.
