I thought the same thing at first, but then how could Jon validate that to get others to defend his claim. They are going to need come shred of hard proof.
No he doesn't.
Aegon the conqueror had no claim to the throne. Robert baratheon had no REAL claim to the throne. They sat their arse on the seat because they were powerful enough to kill the man who was sitting there and they were powerful enough to keep it.
Even if Jon did have that proof he will still be viewed as bastard because proof of his RT's marriage to LS would still not be available and bastards can not hold titles, certainly not be king.
Jon's heritage is only significant because RT had visions that a son from his blood line would be Azor Ahai reborn/ the prince that was promised.
I doubt that the iron throne is even a thing by the end. I expect a return to the old ways and seven different kingdoms.

Aegon had Dragons.
Robert had Stormsend plus the north and the Vale. they were quick to join because the King was mad.
As both Aegon and Robert won battles, more sides switched to them.
JS has neither the advantages of Aegon and Robert. Since the last group he lead did what they did at the end of the last novel, I doubt many would follow him save the wildlings. The only way he can claim the throne is to have Dragons, not lineage.
But you are right, at the end the throne may be a forgotten aspect and Westeros will return to days of old.
