I Never thought of that. I figured one of the trees would have seen Lyanna telling R she was pregnant, saw them making out in the woods with her in full Knight of Laughing Tree regalia or any of a thousand ways to prove R+L=J...but never something so obvious as Ned TALKInG to the damn tree!!!
PS- we are all in agreement that Bran (Greenseers) can see/ hear anything that any Weirwood tree has, not just one particular tree...right?

I figured Lyanna and Rhaegar would've married in front of a heart tree and bran would witness the marriage

I don't see why this would happen since there are no Weirwoods' south of the North right?
