I enjoyed it as much as it possible to enjoy a movie starring Channing Tatum. It could have been very good with the right lead. Agree that Hadrian's Wall is a great fit for The Wall in aSoIaF. Especially considering that Westeros is basically England. Nice catch.

You know the guy was thrilled to land this role and get outta the BS crap chick flick shite his career has been comprised of - especially lucky after single-handedly utterly ruining a potentially decent "Son of Noone"...opposite Pacino and Liotta.

Then to follow it up with 21 Jump Street (raspberry) and AND THEN the male stripper movie. pffftttt. He deserves what he gets.


Back to The Wall:

yeah the resemblance in the geography of Hadrian's Wall and The Wall = uncanny (not the greatest examples, but you get the idea)
