Yeah, I can understand that and don't really have a hard time doubting there could be another child from Rhaegar. If Ned knew the kids were the offspring of his sister, he absolutely would have protected them too, so that is no stretch. Thanks for cluing me in on some of the things that lead people to the theories on Jon.
