BS. He said like 3-4 years ago that if he wasn't done by the time some new Zealand con came around that people had permission to lock him in his cabin and not let him out until he was done. Somehow he managed to accomplish nothing during Covid.
I gave him a pass longer than 99% of people, but I'm done with this dude. He clearly doesn't care about the books anymore (and his fans for that matter) and is just focused on TV shows.

The show was over. No more press .
Then covid. A PERFECT excuse /time to stay locked inside for safety due to his age and obesity and finish the book .
Still.. nothing.
Still can’t believe he’s told this grand story for mother fricking Bran to be King.

I agree with the sentiment but the cold, hard truth is that if a book ever comes out I'll pre-order pretty much as soon as it's available. I'm a little bit ashamed of that because I really do loathe the fricker.
