How many short stories and histories are there for the ASOIAF series?

I have read about 15% of the first Malazan book and it didn't really grab me so I would go Kingkiller first.
On a similar but slightly different genre I just finished the most recent installment of the Dresden files. I really like that series a lot. It is about a wizard/private investigator in modern day Chicago. Each book is a reasonably short read and there are about 14 so far in the series.
What is TP and TQ?

I could be wrong but Sophie should've dressed a little more conservatively meeting Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. Just sayin'.

As
as her legs look in that picture, I agree with you big time. When I saw Conleth Hill (varys) in the pic I thought, "Well maybe he won't disappear next season like in the books." But Rose Leslie is there too, and she's good n' dead. Guess they just invited here back for the meet and greet.

Rose is absolutely adored on set. She's become close friends with all of the actors and directors. Just a great person to be around. In the HBO after the episode thing, one of the producers was saying that the cast and crew were almost as upset about her leaving the show as Jon Snuh was about her dying in the siege of Castle Black.

I have read the Demon Cycle books.
Honestly, they are oddly engrossing. They are almost juvenile with the sex, and sometimes almost read like fanfic. And some of the characters are annoying. But I couldn't put them down.
They definitely aren't the best but worth a read.
