not just after 8 games, at any point after 8 games in the season.
But, we are on a make or break game that either guarantees us into the post season..or sends us home.
Do we continue with Vitt and trust him? Or bring in the coach hoping for post season magic and lose our what-would-be "reinstated draft". (which im saying would get tacked on as extra to the upcoming draft)

This is a fun hypo.
Id take CSP back all day. I know there's no guarantee that we make the playoffs and once in there's no guarantee we make the SB and win.
But with this staff's history of late draft wins and early draft fails, I'd take one game back with Payton on the sidelines this season over the pick next year.

A steep downward spiral. It was bad. Then it just got stupid. Some of the threads and suggestions were really funny. Almost made all that worth it.
Thankfully we won and it got better. If we stay undefeated through the superbowl things around here should stay relativity nice. Other than the weekly i think Ivory should start threads.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that Saints owner Tom Benson will ask Goodell to reconsider the one-year suspension of coach Sean Payton, if the player suspensions are scuttled or reduced by Tagliabue.
That said, there continue to be rumors that Goodell will at some point lift Payton’s suspension for the balance of the year. There’s no specific factual basis for those rumors, yet. A reduction in the player suspensions could provide cover for an olive branch to Payton and, in turn, the entire population of New Orleans, where Goodell will be spending most of the week before the Super Bowl.
