Where is Oasis if you haven't been there? Helping a friend out and I'm at work.

It only shows up once you've downloaded the dlc.
It will be in the fast travel menu options. As far as I can tell, there is no way to get there via the maps in the main game.

that's how it was in the previous game, so it didn't come as much of a surprise.
not everyone is a seasoned vault hunter though.
I only played long enough to watch the intro cinematic and get a frantic echo from one of the new NPCs as I loaded up the first area before I had to take off.

I don't know what other conditions need to be met then.
I downloaded it this morning, fast traveled from eridium blight to sanctuary, then immediately went from sanctuary to the oasis. I'm fairly certain it was right under Sanctuary in the fast travel menu.
I was using a level 25 character. perhaps you need to be in sanctuary to go there? not sure. seems stupid if that were the case.

Ok, I think I may have the issue. When you downloaded did you stay at the download screen until it was finished? I didn't and hopped on to play a bit. Then I pulled up the Xbox live pending downloads and nothing is there. So I think it's downloaded. But apparently it isn't so I go to download again and it jumps to 11% immediately which tells me that it probably stopped at 11%. So I just left the Xbox on and headed back to work and I hope that it's downloaded when I get home.

I think if you go into any game, it will automatically pause your downloads.

I believe the DLC content you download from in game menus has to stay there until complete. I remember another game doing that. Maybe one of the Need for Speeds did it?? It stopped downloading even if I went to the dashboard. It had to stay on that screen.

Right but when I loaded it up again, it said it was already downloaded. But maybe it wasn't.

I believe so.
I had issues getting the Mechromancer when I tried to go back to the dashboard.
you need to sit and wait in the main menu, unfortunately. That's what I did, at any rate.

Hmm. Usually it will give you a pop up saying it has finished downloading or has paused. No idea.

This game doesn't populate on the xbox live menu for some reason. So you won't find it in your active or pending downloads.
