He has lost any ability to play the position.
He was looking to be one of their best receivers, and the team is very unhappy about the way this was handled. Just because he wasn't good at NE doesn't mean he wasn't going to do well in Miami.

Well we will never know that now will we. You know, seeing as how he was RELEASED FROM THE DAMN TEAM!
My god...It was obvious he wasn't going to do a damn thing in Miami, otherwise they would have kept him. Do you honestly think they released him because of his head butt? No, that was just the icing on the cake.
