As an old who has been around a lot longer than 99% of you youngsters I can tell you that almost every football program in America has had their share of similar crap at least since the early 50s. Maybe not marijuana but getting drunk, stealing test, turning over cars, breaking windows, etc., etc., etc., and up until the media got into the 'gotcha, I'm Woodward and Bernstein and I'm gonna break some big news ahead of everyone else' routine, this stuff was overlooked and brushed under the rug. Especially in college towns who had a friendly press.

Nowadays, there is a camera in every phone, a camera at every redlight, someone waiting to "Rodney King" you and no one can afford to cover up anything anymore, not saying they should.

This still happens everywhere, some choose to cover it up and hope they don't get caught (Ohio State); some choose to take the high road when all efforts have failed (LSU).
