LSU is not any different than any other school, players get let go all the time, its the high profile ones that make the headlines. CLM has recruited better quality athletes and better quality characters than any coach before him. TM7 was an at risk kid before he came here and Les gave him an opportunity to play and grow up when other SEC schools did not. TM7 did this and has no one to blame but himself, I personally hope this is the wake up call for him to get his life straight, I care very little about the football part.
as far as the other players thrown off they were treated like adults-student athletes and they made poor decisions not CLM...FACT

He can not play at any NCAA school.
Miles can not keep him from playing football at other schools. The rules prevent this, the rules dictate the punishment in this case.

What other coach at any level of football doesn't have players that get into trouble? And try their hardest to keep their best players on the team?

Congrats to Miles for doing the right thing. Sadly, pathetic people will say "oh whats the big deal" or just slam the guy. I respect the fact he did something you KNOW some idiots are going to say was the wrong move. As for Mathieu, unfortunately he'll still make millions despite his choice...CHOICE...to break the rules, and hurt his "team".
