This is a silly comparison that I wish people would stop using. There wasn't a massive cover up in the athletic program and the NCAA would never garner the support to do what they did with Penn State over a mistress.
Hell, they can't even get unified support in doing what they did with Penn State. So how can you make the argument that they could get everyone on board for something like Petrino's case? You can't. So please stop.
