Just looked online again and prices to stay at Hilton properties in Gainesville and Fayetteville are outrageous due to high occupancy.

Suggestions on neighboring cities to stay in?

I was going to say bentonville or rogers has lots of solid, affordable hotels. Great communities, too.

Not sure about the Florida situation, never been around Gainesville.

We stayed at Lake City in 2010. It's about an hour away from Gainesville, but it's worth it considering the length drive back to BR.

Got a suite booked @ Comfort Suites in Lake City and for reasonable looks like still rooms available there. Under an hour from GV I understand.

Wise choice my friend On all road games I usually stay in a city about 45 mins to an hour away from the game. But I'm always that much closer to home.

I plan to fly (Soutwest Airlines) to the ARK game and just realized that it may be closer for me to fly into Tulsa than Little Rock.

Is this correct?

Should be, Tulsa to Fayetteville is about a 2 hour drive, while Little Rock to Fayetteville is a 3 hour drive

Any other places that I should consider flying into?

It appears I am limited in choices because of the airline I plan to use, but ...

Tulsa or Little Rock are your best bets. It depends on what kind of trip you want to have though.

Arky=Stay in Rodgers or Springdale.

G-ville-come you are a member of the OT. fly to Orlando and drive up. Or stay in Lake City FL. Gainesville is an absolute shithole fwiw. NW arky is the best part of Arky.

tulsa is closer than Little Rock and nobody considers it. Rates in to NW Arky's airport are high? They usually reasonable.

Dude fly into Bentonville (XNA) Northwest Arkansas regional airport if you can.

i know they service a lot of flights from Dallas. You may have to go through there.

XNA is , as I recall, about 40 minutes from Fayetteville. You can also fly into Ft. Smith , AR. It's interstate all the way. About an hour drive. I did this for a wedding I went to up there. If I go see the LSU game, I plan on doing that again.
