I never knew boudin could be so fancy, I usually get a link or two at the gas station.

I went last year and had a great time. It was a mixed crowd and definitely not only for people forty and above. Most of the food I tried was top notch and it was cool to have some famous chefs actually serving you. I would say that about 50% of the food was boudin or sausage. Not sure if I am going this year because of LSU/BAMA but I would recommend it to anyone.

You people are over thinking this a little too much.
It's just a fun charity event and they are going to play around with the food a little. They probably just needed a food that started with b to go with beer.

Seriously, this is just a party. We aren't going to start seeing boudin on menus all over N.O. now.
