"Travin Dural had the only drop of the scholarship WRs. It is becoming obvious that this is a pretty sure-handed group, especially at the top with Beckham, Landry and Shepard."

This makes me very happy, especially with regard to Shep.

Ronnie Feist, Lamar Louis, and Vadal Alexander all defeat older guys in the big cat drill. I cant wait to see these young LBs on the field and Vadal is gonna be key cog at Tackle for awhile.

Does anyone know anything about D. Thomas, #13 freshman CB? That guy looks very fluid in the DB video drill segments and appears to have very good hands.

This is impossible for guys on The Rant that has seen the spring game and has gone to a practice or two says Stephen Rivers sucks. ...and yes, I know I've repeated myself 5 times with this already, but I want to be sure that these guys that claim Rivers is terrible see these reports.

quote:

Stephen Rivers continues to steadily improve. It’s impossible not to notice his physical improvement from his freshman year to now as well as his accuracy inside of 20 yards. He just rarely misses that close and shows excellent touch. Beyond 20 yards, he misfires a bit, but it is impossible to say at this point that Rivers would sit behind Rob Bolden. While Bolden has done just about everything right, Rivers has clearly responded positively to the competition.

Eh, I don't remember you saying anything.

There's 10-15 posters running around here claiming Rivers being terrible.
