Shep's first couple of years he would come in for the Wildcat and everyone in the stadium knew he was going to run the ball. I just don't remember us throwing to him much out of the slot last year. I just don't think we have used him to his strengths since he has been here. Obviously Miles and company know what they are doing, we played for the National Championship last year. He is one of the few guys who we just haven't utilized IMO.

it's mindboggling why they didn't have him fake the run and throw at least one during the past 3 years.

We didn't throw the ball much last year as it was plus he missed what, 3 or 4 games? What do you consider his strengths? He has good acceleration in the open field, but he doesn't make people miss and I won't say he has bad hands but they definitely aren't good either.

He's a solid player and has represented the program well, but he isn't someone you build a gameplan around.
