The "real" Martins are > $2000, so Eastman and Blueridge? Blueridge is known for having a shallow, narrow neck profile, but that may have changed in the last couple of years. You should consider asking around on sites like:

And I'd strongly recommend considering plain old acoustics, unless you really need the electronics NOW. You can always add them later, and you'll have much more to choose from if you don't require them pre-installed.

That's a great idea. In fact, I had a Baggs Element installed in my 110e after I bought the guitar. You've increased my guitar selection immensely—thanks!
