I get that Alabama (as usual) lost a large amount of talent to the draft, but when you're basically churning out #1 class after #1 class, it seems fairly doable to reload.
LSU has recruited at an elite level for years too (other than 2012)

but with huge chunks of the defense (especially the fantastic secondary) gone to the NFL, and declining recruting talent coming up to replace them, I'm not sure that the gain at QB is enough to offset the losses on defense.
hmmm, since we're talking about recruiting, we lost brockers, who will be replaced by the #1 DT in the country, anthony johnson, who was also a top 25 player in the country.
we lost brandon taylor, who will be replaced by craig lostson, who happened to be the #1 safety in the country out of high school, and a top 25 player in the country.
i won't argue replacing mo, that person will have huge shoes to fill.
BUT, we have tm7, bennie logan, sam montgomery, mingo, minter, eric reid, all coming back. not to mention, the stable of running backs and probably the deepest offensive line LSU's had in YEARS.

my first bold prediction of the year is that LSU goes down before they play Bama. Most likely they split the Auburn/Florida road games,
how can a person use this logic, when they say something like this?
"Alabama annihilated LSU in the nation title game, which to me points to Bama being better in 2012 (because they were far better in that game, and because they gave a clinic on how to beat LSU), not to LSU being better in 2012 (because somehow this gives them the "motivation advantage")
was the LSU/UF and LSU/Auburn game close? for some reason, i remember both of those games being more of a blowout than the national championship game. so that means LSU won't beat bama because of what happened in the nc, but UF or Auburn will beat LSU......someone help me out here, i'm just not understanding the logic.
