I like this idea, but you think LSU officials would know that our fightsong is "Fight for LSU" not "Hey Fighting Tigers"

I suppose. But you know there's a lot of people who think Hey Fightin Tigers is our fight song.

Nothing wrong with setting a theme to the season. Its analogous to.the Live Purple Love Gold theme they did a couple of years ago. I'm sure a ton of merchandise will follow this announcement.

boxcarbarney, I'm glad you pointed it out. The LSU fight song is "Fight for LSU." The other songs such as "Touchdown for LSU" (within Pregame), "Hey Fightin' Tigers" and "Tiger Rag" are school songs along with "Darling of LSU", "LSU Alma Mater" and Karl King's "Tiger Triumph March."
