is the answer for punishing Penn State. I get the part of putting money into helping organizations for abused children and adults, but do not see the correlation between that and the punitive part assessed to the sports department at Penn State. It would be like not punishing the university. You would punish the fans and alumni, the student body, the faculty and all the other supporters of the team. Tax on tickets?

The University didn't do anything. Some people that worked for it did and they have or will be punished.

Yet somehow banning the football team won't be punishing those people. Brilliant. Those people are the University, any punishment you give the University will be punishing those people plus a lot more people that did nothing. No matter what the University will be sued so these people will pay regardless.

The audio I heard he didn't say this. He said tax the school on the money made from tickets, not the fans

the "public" in this case are the cultish freaks who think Paterno can allow as many baby rapes as he wants

They could pass a 40% tax increase in AL to fund the tide. I hope they don't try

This thread is deja vu all over again. But yea, he was trying to say tax a certain amount of proceeds PSU takes in from ticket sales.
