Dr Diodene was a quality human being. He was a season ticket holder in the south end zone for LSU Football for many years.

We were "season ticket neighbors" for 16 years, dating back our first season as season ticket holders in 1996.

Lasting memories for me will be of his pricelessly understated reactions to LSU on the field in good times and in bad, and his wry commentary on the sights, sounds and goings on around us in the land of the fans in the stands.

A good man, a quality human being, and a huge Tiger Fan left us tonight. My prayers are with him and his family.

We will miss you Doc!!!

Also of note, his son played football for LSU about 10 years ago.

Was that Dr. Diodene at the VA Hospital in N.O.? Prayers sent. Hoping it is not the same one. He has been helping me with my knee problem and the VA for years.

Sorry to hear that. The friendship you had with him is very evident in your well written post.

If this fellow was A. N. Diodene, Jr., he was, indeed, a good man. And a good doctor.

I played football with his son, and I agree that Dr. Diodene was one of the most quality human beings on this planet. RIP.
