if your not an insider here's the list
1) Howard (UFA)
2) Paul (UFA)
3) Harden (RFA)
4) Bynum (UFA)
5) Ty Lawson (RFA)
6) Serge Ibaka (RFA)
7) Evans (RFA)
8) Curry (RFA)
9) Monte Ellis (UFA)
10) Tony Allen (UFA)

so i know its a little early but i look at this as Howard no chance, Paul maybe but I would say there's a 75% chance he resigns with the Clips, Harden great player do see how he fits in Nola, Bynum legitimate possibility, Lawson nahh, Ibaka too many PFs, Evans I want, then the rest maybe we go after Curry but I doubt it

I know Evans played the 3 in SAC for a little while and I think he would be an interesting fit (obviously if AD plays the 5) plus Evans is only 22 and would be fairly cheaper than most others 2013 free agents i think

if we are playing AD at the 3 (which I'm still not sure of but I'm warming up to it) we could go after Bynum

Obviously Im looking at best case scenario but I'm just looking at next years FA class and seeing who would fit

What does the board think about next year's FA and who would fit as a Hornet?

I really want Paul. Hes a good mentor for Rivers and can teach AD and the other bigs how to play. He'll win one here for sure.

I'm fairly certain the Anderson will play the 4 thats puts a need at the 3 and 5 i would prefer Davis at the 5 but I don't think its too crazy to think he's not athletic enough to guard and maybe even play the 3

just looking at different possibilities

I guess ur right he could play the 3. He doesnt have to on offense (Rynos job) but he can guard other teams 3s.

Well let's be realistic..none of those guys will be "let go".

Top FAs will either be traded or retained..most stud FAs will not make it to their UFA year anymore

I'm not sure SAC wants him to stay either. No way he fits with Rivers and Gordon.

You don't take a guys whose best skill set is blocking shots and defensive rebounding and ask him to guard perimeter players.

Want to explain why you keep bashing the kid that wanted to play for the Hornets more than any other franchise in the NBA?

I want to play for the Hornets more than any other franchise in the NBA. Does that make me immune to criticism ?

Rivers has not played well so far in SL, but not nearly enough of a sample size to determine the quality of player he can be in the NBA. He can be criticized for his play so far in SL, I think that is fair. But to make a determination on his future in the NBA is way too premature.

And you are right, Big slick or whatever his name is, should provide reasoning as to why he wishes to criticize Rivers' play so far in SL. Rather just saying he's poo.

I just don't think he fits the team. We need a point guard not someone that averages 18 ppg and causes us to lose 40 games.

Do you think Monte Ellis, Stephen Curry, Tyreke Evans, or Ben Gordon will ever win a championship?

Bad draft pick

They certainly can if they get on a team that includes Anthony Davis, Eric Gordon, and Ryan Anderson.Monte probably wont but Curry has a legit chance with this developing GS team. Tyreke is a headcase and Ben Gordon is not as good as Rivers. and plays a different style. Bad examples.

Dwayne Wade is not the point guard. Chambers and Cole played that role. Dwayne Wade is our Gordon.

Anyway when you have the best player to ever play the game on your team you can have Mark Madsen starting and you will win a ton of games.

We need a pass first point guard. Not a trigger happy two guard that needs to get his shots in.
