Well it popped up to switch graphics when you unplugged it right?
If the icon is there then you know it's on the Intel GPU and not the AMD...
If it's not there, then you're on the AMD GPU.
As for turning off the switchable graphics, mines in the Catalyst Control Center, not sure why yours isn't.
