What's the going rate for a leveling kit install?

Idk shite about suspension on a vehicle, so I'm looking for an OB'er to help me install a leveling kit on a 2011 ford f150.

Paid around $350 if I remember correctly for a 2" Daystar kit, install, and alignment at Light Line.

Not sure how the install is on a ford, but my buddy has one on his GMC and it looks super easy to DIY. I'd say look into install instructions online and try to do it yourself and save some money. It can't be THAT hard, but if money isn't a problem, than I guess a couple hundo bucks isn't too bad.

I would not recommend the Daystar lift btw. It's not a true 2" and I am still not level. Yes I am mad about it.
If I were to do it over, I still may, I would go with a BDS 2.5" or an Auto Spring 2.5" and a 1" block in the rear.
It's not hard to do yourself, I've done them before. I just would rather have someone else do it and spend the money. Just my personal preference.

I would definitely go 2.5". Why would you add to the rear? Defeats the point of the level right?

Well, yes. However, I didn't necessarily want an exact leveling kit. I wanted to lift my truck on the cheap. I had 2" of sag from the factory and wanted to lift the front 2-2.5" and the rear 1". This woulda lifted the entire truck and not made my 305/55/20 tires looked stuffed. Now I have a 1" sag and nothing on the rear. It barely lifted my truck.

The Daystar lift is not a true 2". I am not sure if this is because it is made out of polyurethane or what but the end result is the same, not 2". The other brands listed give the full 2" (from many reviews) and cost about the same, with the BDS being a little bit more.

You might want to check with Ford about your warranty. I believe it will make it null and void.

None at all. It had zero effect on the ride or handling. So I guess I will give it that as a positive.
