George's gets hate because of Smokey, which I agree with and understand, but their poboys are legit. They hook it up with shrimp.

Pokie and Dempsey's both have a decent RB poboy, though if I'm walking into Pokie's store and dealing with that grouchy SOB, I'm getting meatball and sausage with eggplant.
