Let me start by saying it is not the almighty LA fricking marsh and coast line but plenty of fish to be caught. There is a marsh between Gautier and pascagoula and the mouth of the Pascagoula river comes out at the shipyard. You can catch bass and reds and specks in the marsh and as you move out to the gulf lots of shoreline and rocks to fish. Round Island, Petit Bois Island and Horn Island or just a short ride out. I have been to Horn Island( which is the furthest) many times in just a 14 Express and others similiar. I have caught many specks and White trout from the beaches and piers and off the rocks. Get on google maps and check the area before you go so you have an idea what it looks like.

Thanks man, I plan on starting out early with a run to horn/petit to see if the specks are in the salt, then working backwards towards ingalls and marsh lake for reds/bass. You live around there?
