Other than the creepy ghosts and annoying wife, how awesome of a job is the one the guy had in this movie? You get a resort all to yourself for like 5 months. Eat whatever you want, watch movies, they even had a gym and an arcade. Plus he got paid.. Do jobs like this even exist?

But you're stuck in there alone for a few months with the only communication with the outside world being a radio to call for emergency help.

Yes...winter caretaker jobs exist in various forms...which is why people get extreme cabin fever.
Man is a social animal...isolation sucks. I'd rather be stuck on Das Boot...at least you have conversation.
