According to comingsoon.net. It was played at the SDCC last night, and here are a few Twitter reactions:

@ErikDavis
Holy hell, the #IMAXRemix event was pretty insane - DJ'ing to IMAX footage inside a giant dome theater. #Skyfall trailer rocked hard. #sdcc

?@ErikDavis
I have a feeling the train sequence in #Skyfall will top all Bond films. It looks so cool in the new trailer. #sdcc

?@Film_Void
@imax exclusive #skyfall trailer was awesome....exciting, gripping, and action-packed! Lots of new footage.

?@MYNAMEISKHANcdn
Just saw the new Imax trailer for #Skyfall. Lots of new footage, including awesome train-top fisticuffs and a badass Naomie Harris

?@The_Alex
“@Victor_Lucas: The New Q!!! #Skyfall LINK looks like the powers that be are correcting issues w/ 1st 2 Daniel Craig films

?@gerradhall
1st footage of Ben Whishaw as Q in #Skyfall in @IMAX trailer at #comiccon

?@ErikDavis
New #Skyfall trailer introduces Q as some young nerd who can do more damage on his laptop than Bond can do with his fists and gund.

?@gerradhall
Just saw #Skyfall @IMAX footage ... action, explosions galore. And the classic line is there! "Bond, James Bond" A must-see in IMAX. #SDCC

@lennyukdeejay
#IMAXRemix Astonishing! IMAX as Cinerama! And the #skyfall footage...staggering!

@Tim_Yong
Nice! At #imaxremix with J and Tina. #skyfall trailer awesome

?@totalfilm
Also got our first proper intro to Ben Whishaw's Q and Bérénice Marlohe's sinister but sexy Severine. #Skyfall #ComicCon2012

@ImJacksWstdLife
@IMAX #IMAXremix footage was legendary!!! #skyfall exclusive footage was beyond impressive!!! The dark knight who?!

Gerrad Hall ?@gerradhall
@marketto007 @IMAX Trailer only seen in IMAX...Agent IDs stolen, M under fire, new Q, ?#Bond? on hunt - or being hunted? @TheSevenSees

* TRAILER DESCRIPTION*

quote:

It turns out that M was responsible for a data drive containing the identities and current locations of every British Intelligence Agent currently operating in the field. Quite a sensitive bit of kit then, and not something you'd want falling into the wrong hands. Except that's exactly what happens…

That would seem to explain the ominous shot of Union Jack clad coffins that cropped up in the first teaser - somebody is taking out MI6's finest, and only Bond can put a stop to it. And as the rest of the new trailer demonstrated, he's ready to do so in explosive style.

The rest of the action on show looked suitably spectacular (particularly on the towering IMAX screen) with an eye-popping collision between a crane and a speeding train a particular highlight. Daniel Craig even gets the opportunity to drop a, "Bond, James Bond" into the mix for good measure!

Won't there be a Man of Steel trailer as well?

fricking awesome we're getting another train sequence. Bond is at his best fighting on trains.

Really love the plot as well. I have a feeling that this will be the best Bond yet.

Sounds like it is going to be Mission Impossible meets James Bond, in a way. Didn't MI have a similar plot once? Or maybe I'm thinking of another spy movie.

You're right. That's what happens in the first Mission Impossible.

I'm sure the Bond version will be lightyears better than the M:I version.

Thanks to QoS, I'll be cautiously optimistic. Never underestimate the ability of Hollywood to screw good things up.

QoS fell victim to the writer's strike. I posted an article on here a while back which explained why it was so bad (in terms of the story at least). Craig (who admitted he was no writer) and Forster had to completely write the second and third acts of the script, which equaled a complete castration of what might have been.

Director wise... Sam Mendes >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Marc Forster.

Don't be. Quantum of Solace was a direct victim of the writer's strike. That was pretty much a first draft of the script when the strike started. Daniel Craig himself had to rewrite scenes, and he's no writer. This one however everyone has been beating their chests over it calling it the best Bond film of all time, surpassing Casino Royale in every regard, and I believe they truly mean this. I personally can't wait for it.
