The simple reality is, no one in the athletic department today had anything to do with the molestations/rapes/whatever or their cover-up (that we know of) so there is no reason for the NCAA to step in. Again, what Sandusky did was despicable. The cover-up was despicable. However, the NCAA has no authority over any of that.
Like I've said several times, people are abandoning logic and reason for their emotions and feelings. This is their thought process: ZOMG FORMER COACHES MOLESTED YOUNG BOYZ AND TEH FORMAH HEED CORCH COVERED IT UPP!!! NUKE THERE FOOOOTBAL PROGAM FRUM OREBITS!!!
